Two options for times when a well needs a more complex artificial lift solution: the TFC 2.2 Thru Bore SSD Jet Pump/Gas Lift System, or the TFC 1.6 Slimhole Jet Pump/Gas Lift System.
At times a well can need a more complex artificial lift solution. In some cases where gas lift may be the long term method of production but there is no gas to initially lift the well, fuel compressors or planned infrastructure is not complete, a jet pump gas lift system can extremely beneficial.
This dual system gives the operator several benefits, the jet pump system can be used to recover frac fluid until gas production becomes relevant, the jet pump is then retrieved via wire line and the well is put into production with gas lift saving the operator a work over procedure. The BHA will stay in the well bore so if the need for hydraulic lift returns due to offset fracs, disruption in gas production or compressor downtime, the jet pump can be pumped back in the well and used for production both intermittently or long term. In other cases a Slimhole Jet Pump and concentric tubing string can be installed permanently with a gas lift system for a long term dual completion. The jet pump does not have to be removed from the well bore to initiate gas lift nor does this design limit the functionality of the jet pump system.
